I ordered five of these stocking holders and am very pleased with the overall appearance. They are hefty and quite visually appealing, just as represented in the picture. There is a caveat, though. The actual hook is not attached to the base and has to be attached with a small screw, which is included in the package. Four of my five holders were easily assembled, in probably less than five minutes total. The fifth, however, had the hole for the screw tapped so far off center that it was not physically possible to attach the small hook (there is a groove into which it has to fit for the holder to sit on the shelf). While this could be re-tapped, the previous hole would overlap with the appropriately centered one. While I have rigged mine to work with some epoxy, this means that I cannot disassemble it for storage and it may not be something you'd want to do with yours.
So, all in all, I'm pretty happy, but you might want to consider whether you have time to return or repair these if you decide to purchase them.
